Take-Two CEO Ben Feder revealed on the company’s call to investors Thursday that the first round of DLC for the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV will arrive in Q1 2009.

On an investor’s call Thursday, Take Two CEO Ben Feder told reporters that the exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV episodic content for Xbox 360 would arrive in Q1 2009.

Since company calendars go by the fiscal year, that means DLC for GTA IV on Xbox 360 will arrive in November 2008 at the earliest. Feder did not delve into any further details, including any possibility of future PS3 DLC.

Feder also dismissed analyst inquiries about a delay with the DLC, citing “balance” instead.

“The 2009 release of this highly anticipated episode will provide better balance among top titles,” Feder said. “The reason we moved it is more about portfolio balance than anything else… the delay is not about development issues.”
